Business development manager

Challenges

• To prospect, analyze, and recommend business solutions to major accounts from e-platforms, consolidators and direct e-sellers
• To make sales plans and meet the sales targets given by the company, ensuring continuous growth and maximizing returns
• To obtain information of market trends and customer needs, therefore providing insights to the management, with recommendations.
• To establish a business pipeline in parallel with the sales plan, ensuring sales force efficiency and healthy new business development in line with sales and strategic plans.
• To maintain regular contact and follow up with existing accounts, for maximum retention and sustainable business relationship.
• To analyze trading portfolio and identify threats and opportunity
• Assist in business development activities related to logistics and warehousing
• Manage and coordinate special services relating to warehousing, local transport

Requirements

• Degree holder preferable in Business or Logistics management
• Min. 5 years of sales or account servicing experience in the transport logistics industry
• Knowledgeable in e-platforms, cross-border eCommerce, and air freight forwarding
• Proficient in both English and Chinese
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Business mindset, flexible, with a can-do attitude
• Show drive to find solutions
• Able to work in teams in multi-cultural environment
• Business trips to China are required
