Challenges

  • Support the local product developer global destinations on destination expansion projects.
  • Maintain strong relationships with carriers for capacity, rate, schedule adherence, and service levels.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize the benefits of the trade lanes, including cost savings and service improvements.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to monitor trade lane performance and identify areas for improvement regularly.
  • Monitor trade lane capacity, and optimize routing and schedules to minimize transit times and costs.

Responsibilities

  • Stay informed about the trade lane status, competitors' landscape, trends or regulatory changes.
  • Make use of the gathered intelligence to inform strategic decisions and adapt to changing market conditions
  • Identify potential risks with mitigation and inform the Product Developer & Program Manager on time.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including central team, sales and business development, customer service, finance and operation for contractual terms, billings and operational compliance with local and international standards.

What do you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade lanes logistics, supply chain management, cross-border e-commerce transport and last mile solutions related to North America and South American countries.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently, hands-on and flexibly as part of a team.
  • A proactive, open-minded and results-oriented mindset with a strong desire to win.
  • Experience in working with a multicultural international team is mandatory.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English.
